FAQ
Q: What is the difference between WhatsApp Cloud API and WhatsApp Web? A: WhatsApp Cloud API is Meta's official business API for high-volume messaging. WhatsApp Web connects through a linked device (QR code scan). Cloud API supports message templates and does not require keeping a phone connected.
Q: Can I use both WhatsApp Cloud API and WhatsApp Web at the same time? A: Yes, but they would use different phone numbers. Each channel operates independently.
Q: Where do I create new message templates? A: Message templates are created and managed in Meta's WhatsApp Business Manager. After creating them there, use the Sync button in Aurora to load the latest templates.
