Aurora AI Hub

Overview

The Aurora AI Hub is the central dashboard for all artificial intelligence features in Aurora Inbox. From here you can access the Knowledge Base to train your AI with documents and catalogs, manage your AI Agents, and build traditional chatbot Workflows. It serves as the starting point for setting up automated, intelligent conversations with your customers.

How to Access

  • Navigate to Tools > Aurora AI from the main sidebar
  • Required role: Chatbot Admin

Interface Overview

The Aurora AI Hub displays a card-based layout with three main sections:

  • Knowledge Base - Manage the documents, websites, and catalogs that your AI agents use to answer questions
  • AI Agents - Create and configure intelligent agents that can hold natural conversations with customers
  • Traditional Chatbot (Workflows) - Build rule-based conversation flows using a visual designer

Each card shows an icon, title, and brief description. Clicking a card navigates to that section. If you do not have the required permissions, the card will display a lock icon and you will not be able to access it.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between AI Agents and Traditional Chatbots? A: AI Agents use large language models (LLM) to understand natural language and respond intelligently based on your instructions and knowledge base. Traditional Chatbots (Workflows) follow predefined conversation paths with fixed messages and branching options.

Q: Do I need to set up the Knowledge Base before creating an AI Agent? A: You can create an agent without documents, but adding relevant documents and catalogs to the Knowledge Base allows your agent to provide more accurate, detailed answers based on your specific business information.
