Subscription Setup
Overview
The Subscription Setup is the fourth step of the setup wizard. It displays the available subscription plans and allows you to choose and activate a plan for your Aurora Inbox account. This step uses the same subscription details component found in the main application billing settings. The Next button only becomes available after an active subscription is detected.
How to Access
- This is Step 4 of the Setup Wizard
- Accessible during the initial onboarding flow after completing the AI Agent Setup step
Interface Overview
The page contains:
- The Subscription Details component showing available plans, pricing, and features
- A loading animation while the subscription information is being loaded
- Back and Next navigation buttons at the bottom
- The Next button is only visible when an active subscription is detected
Features & Actions
View Available Plans
What it does: Displays the subscription plans available for your Aurora Inbox account, including pricing, features, and plan intervals.
Steps:
- Review the available plans displayed on the page
- Compare features and pricing between plans
Select and Activate a Plan
What it does: Subscribes your account to the selected plan.
Steps:
- Choose a plan from the available options
- Complete the payment or activation process (handled by the subscription details component)
- Once an active subscription is confirmed, the Next button appears
- Click Next to proceed to the Finish step
Important notes:
- You cannot proceed to the next step without an active subscription
- Free trial plans (if available) activate immediately
Go Back to AI Agent Setup
What it does: Returns to the previous step.
Steps:
- Click the Back button
- You are returned to Step 3 (AI Agent Setup)
FAQ
Q: Do I need a paid subscription to use Aurora Inbox? A: The available plans (including any free trials) are shown during this step. You need to activate a plan to proceed.
Q: Can I change my plan later? A: Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or change your subscription from the Settings > Billing section at any time.
Q: What payment methods are accepted? A: Payment is handled through the subscription component, which typically supports credit/debit cards and other methods via Stripe.
Q: What happens if I go back after selecting a plan? A: Your subscription remains active. The wizard simply navigates back to the AI Agent step.
