Tools Hub

Overview

The Tools Hub is a central page that provides quick access to the key productivity and automation features of Aurora Inbox. It displays a set of tool cards, each linking to a specific feature area such as Templates, Aurora AI, Broadcast, Marketing Campaigns, Response Time Dashboard, Integrations, and Zapier. Each tool card shows a title, description, and icon. Access to each tool is controlled by role-based permissions.

How to Access

  • Navigate to Sidebar > Tools
  • Available to all authenticated users, but individual tool access depends on assigned roles

Interface Overview

The page displays:

  • A page title "Tools" with a toolbox icon
  • A grid of tool cards, each containing:
    • An icon
    • A title
    • A short description
    • A link to the tool's page
  • Cards for tools you do not have permission to access show a yellow lock icon instead of a clickable link

Features & Actions

Access a Tool

What it does: Navigates to the selected tool's dedicated page.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Tools page
  2. Click on a tool card to navigate to that tool's page

Important notes:

  • If you do not have the required role for a tool, the card is not clickable and displays a yellow lock icon with an "Unauthorized Access" tooltip
  • The Zapier integration opens an embedded Zapier experience within Aurora Inbox

Zapier Integration

What it does: Provides an embedded Zapier interface for creating and managing automation workflows that connect Aurora Inbox with thousands of other apps.

Steps:

  1. Click the Zapier card on the Tools page
  2. The Zapier full experience loads embedded in the page
  3. Your Aurora Inbox email and name are pre-filled for Zapier sign-up
  4. Browse available Zapier integrations and create automations (called "Zaps")

Important notes:

  • Your email and name from your Aurora Inbox account are pre-filled in Zapier for convenience
  • A back button returns you to the Tools hub

FAQ

Q: Why can I see a tool but not click on it? A: You do not have the required role to access that tool. Contact your account administrator to request the appropriate role.

Q: What is the difference between Integrations and Zapier? A: Integrations are direct, built-in connections to specific platforms (like Facebook Lead Ads). Zapier is a third-party automation platform that connects Aurora Inbox with thousands of other apps through pre-built or custom workflows.

Q: How do I get access to a specific tool? A: Ask your account administrator to assign you the required role (e.g., Template Administrator, Chatbot Administrator) from the Teams settings.
