Profile Information
Overview
The Profile Information screen lets you view and edit your personal account details, including your display name, preferred language, timezone, and profile photo. These settings affect how your name appears to teammates and contacts, and how dates and times are displayed throughout the platform.
How to Access
- Navigate to Settings > Profile
- The Profile tab is selected by default
- Available to all users regardless of role
Interface Overview
The profile page displays:
- Header area showing your current avatar, name, and email address
- Email verification banner (shown if your email is not yet confirmed, with a "Resend Email" link)
- Tabbed navigation with tabs for Profile, Email, Password, Security, Notifications, and Calendars
- The Profile tab shows your name, language, and timezone in read-only mode by default
Features & Actions
View Profile Information
What it does: Displays your current display name, language preference, and timezone setting.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Profile
- The Profile tab shows your current name, language, and timezone
Edit Profile Information
What it does: Updates your display name, preferred language, and timezone. Changes take effect immediately across the platform.
Steps:
- Click the Edit button at the bottom of the Profile tab
- The fields become editable:
- Name field becomes a text input
- Language selector becomes active
- Timezone selector becomes active
- Make your changes
- Click Submit to save, or Cancel to discard changes
Important notes:
- The Name field is required and cannot be left blank
- Language and timezone must both be selected for the form to submit
- After saving, the updated information is reflected across the platform immediately
Change Profile Photo
What it does: Uploads a new profile photo (avatar) that appears next to your name throughout the platform.
Steps:
- Click the pencil icon on your avatar in the header area
- Select an image file from your device
- The avatar updates automatically after upload
Important notes:
- Accepted formats: any image file (JPG, PNG, GIF, etc.)
- The photo updates immediately for you and is visible to other team members
Resend Email Verification
What it does: Resends a verification email if your account email has not been confirmed yet.
Steps:
- If your email is unconfirmed, a banner appears: "Verify your email: [your email]"
- Click the Resend Email link in the banner
- Check your inbox for the verification email

FAQ
Q: Will changing my language change the language for my entire company? A: No. Language is a personal preference that only affects your own interface. Company-wide language is set separately in Company Settings.
Q: What happens if I change my timezone? A: Date and time displays throughout the platform will adjust to your selected timezone. This does not affect scheduled messages or business hours, which use the company timezone.
