Getting Started with Aurora Inbox

Overview​

The Getting Started flow guides new users through the process of creating their Aurora Inbox account and setting it up for first use. This onboarding experience begins with the registration form and transitions seamlessly into the setup wizard, where you configure your knowledge base, messaging channels, AI agent, and subscription. A progress bar at the top of the screen shows how far along you are.

How to Access​

  • This page is shown to new users who do not yet have an account.
  • If you already have an account, you will be redirected automatically to the login page.

Interface Overview​

The onboarding page displays:

  • The Aurora Inbox logo in the upper-left corner
  • A progress bar at the top (starts at 20%) that shows your overall onboarding progress
  • A white content panel containing the registration form (the first step in the onboarding process)
  • A loading animation is shown while the system checks whether you already have an account

Features & Actions​

Automatic Account Detection​

What it does: Before displaying the registration form, the system checks whether you already have an Aurora Inbox account (tenant). If an account exists, you will be redirected to the login page with a return URL to the setup wizard.

Steps:

  1. Visit the /onboarding page
  2. The system automatically checks whether an account exists
  3. If an account exists: you will be redirected to Login and then to Setup Step 1
  4. If no account exists: the registration form is displayed

Important notes:

  • This check prevents the creation of duplicate accounts
  • The redirect includes a return URL so you can continue to the setup wizard after logging in

Completing Onboarding​

What it does: Guides you through the full process from registration to initial configuration.

Steps:

  1. Sign up -- Complete your company information (see Account Registration)
  2. Log in -- After registration, you will be redirected to the login page
  3. Setup Wizard -- After logging in, you enter the 5-step setup wizard (see Setup Wizard)

Important notes:

  • The progress bar updates as you move through each step
  • You can go back to previous steps in the setup wizard using the Back button

FAQ​

Q: I already have an account but I am seeing the registration page. What should I do? A: You may have logged out. Try navigating directly to the login page and signing in with your existing credentials.

Q: Can I skip onboarding and come back later? A: The registration step must be completed to create your account. Once your account is created, the setup wizard lets you skip certain optional steps (such as the knowledge base).
