Reports Overview
Overview
The Reports home page is your operational dashboard. It gives you a quick snapshot of your account health, including AI response usage, unanswered messages, channel connection status, and subscription details. Use it every day to stay on top of pending conversations and ensure your communication channels are working correctly.
How to Access
- Navigate to Reports in the sidebar menu.
- The Home tab is selected by default.
- Available to all roles (admin, agent, supervisor).
Interface Overview
The Reports section is organized as a tabbed interface with the following tabs:

The Home tab is divided into two columns:
- Left (main area): AI response usage bar, unanswered messages table
- Right (sidebar): Inbox summary cards, channel status indicators, subscription expiry
Features & Actions
View AI Response Usage
What it does: Shows how many AI-generated responses your account has used versus the plan limit.
- A progress bar displays the ratio of used versus maximum AI responses.
- The bar turns red when usage exceeds 70% of the limit, indicating you are approaching your cap.
- The exact count is shown as "used / max" (e.g., 1,250 / 2,000).
Important notes:
- AI response limits are determined by your subscription plan.
- Once the limit is reached, AI agents will stop auto-responding until the next billing cycle.
View Unanswered Messages
What it does: Displays a scrollable list of conversations where the customer's last message has not been replied to.
Details:
- The table shows: contact avatar, contact name, date, and message text.
- Scroll down to load more messages automatically (infinite scroll).
- Click the conversation viewer button on each row to quickly view the full conversation.
Important notes:
- Only shows messages not yet responded to by any team member.
- This list refreshes automatically when you open the page.
View Inbox Summary
What it does: Shows two key metrics in the right sidebar:

Check Channel Connection Status
What it does: Displays the connection status for each communication channel:
- WhatsApp Web -- Shows each connected phone number and its status:
- Green circle: Connected
- Red circle: Disconnected (with a link to reconnect via Settings > Channels)
- Yellow circle: Not yet configured (with a link to set up)
- WhatsApp Cloud API -- Connected, Disconnected, or Not configured
- Subscription End Date -- Shows when your current subscription expires
Steps:
- Review the status indicators next to each channel.
- If a channel shows as disconnected, click Connect or Setup to navigate to Settings > Channels.
- Follow the channel setup instructions to restore connectivity.
Enable Browser Notifications
What it does: If browser notifications have not been granted, a prompt appears at the top of the Home tab asking you to enable them.
Steps:
- Click the Enable button in the notification banner.
- Accept the browser's permission dialog.
- You will now receive desktop notifications for new messages.
Important notes:
- The banner only appears if notification permission is in the "default" (not yet decided) state.
- If you have previously denied notifications, you will need to change the setting in your browser.
Download the Mobile App
What it does: A promotional banner at the bottom links to the Aurora Inbox mobile app on Google Play.
- Click the Google Play badge to open the app listing in a new tab.
Important Notes
- AI usage data reflects real-time account consumption.
- Channel statuses reflect the live connectivity state.
- The Marketing Campaigns tab is only visible to users with the Marketing Admin or Global Admin role.
FAQ
Q: Why is my AI usage bar red? A: The bar turns red when you have consumed 70% or more of your plan's AI response limit. Consider upgrading your plan or reducing AI auto-responses.
Q: How do I reconnect a disconnected WhatsApp channel? A: Click the Connect link next to the disconnected channel status, which takes you to Settings > Channels. Follow the reconnection steps there.
Q: Why don't I see the Marketing Campaigns tab? A: This tab is restricted to users with Marketing Admin or Global Admin roles.
