Initial Setup Wizard

Overview​

The Setup Wizard guides you through the initial configuration of your Aurora Inbox account after signup. It consists of five sequential steps: Knowledge Base, Channels, AI Agent, Subscription, and Finish. A progress bar at the top of the screen tracks your progress through the wizard. Each step can be advanced with the Next button or returned to with the Back button.

How to Access​

  • After signing up, you are redirected here automatically
  • This wizard is intended for first-time setup of a new account

Interface Overview​

The setup wizard displays:

  • The Aurora Inbox logo in the top-left corner
  • A progress bar that advances with each step (approximately 16.6% per step)
  • A white content panel that displays the current step's content
  • Back and Next navigation buttons at the bottom of each step

Wizard Steps​

  1. Knowledge Base -- Upload your company website and/or documents for AI training
  2. Channels -- Configure your messaging channels (WhatsApp, etc.)
  3. AI Agent -- Choose your AI agent template
  4. Subscription -- Select and activate your subscription plan
  5. Finish -- Completion screen with a link to start using Aurora Inbox

Features & Actions​

What it does: Move forward and backward through the setup wizard steps.

Steps:

  1. Complete the current step's configuration
  2. Click Next to advance to the next step
  3. Click Back to return to the previous step

Important notes:

  • The progress bar updates automatically as you move between steps
  • Some steps will auto-advance if the configuration has already been completed (e.g., if documents are already uploaded or an AI agent already exists)
  • Step 1 (Knowledge Base) has a "Later" button to skip it
  • Step 5 (Finish) only has a forward action to go to the AI Agents page

Step 5: Finish​

What it does: Displays a congratulations screen with a celebration animation and a button to start chatting with your AI agent.

Steps:

  1. View the congratulations message and confetti animation
  2. Click "Habla con Aurora!" (Talk to Aurora!) to navigate to your AI agent's page

Important notes:

  • If an AI agent was created during setup, clicking the button takes you directly to that agent's detail page with onboarding mode enabled
  • If no agent was found, you are taken to the general AI Agents list page

FAQ​

Q: Can I come back to the setup wizard later? A: You can access the setup wizard at any time, but some steps may auto-advance if they detect that configuration is already complete.

Q: Do I have to complete all steps? A: The Knowledge Base step can be skipped with the "Later" button. Channels and Subscription steps are recommended but you can proceed. The AI Agent step requires selecting a template.

Q: What happens at the Finish step? A: A congratulations animation plays and you are given a button to start interacting with your AI agent.
