Broadcast
Overview
Broadcast allows you to send bulk messages to multiple contacts at once. You can create campaigns to reach your audience with announcements, promotions, or follow-ups via WhatsApp. Each broadcast tracks its status from draft through sending to completion, and you can monitor delivery results for each campaign.
How to Access
- Navigate to Broadcast
- Required role: Admin
Interface Overview
The Broadcast page displays:
- A header with the page title and an + Add New button
- A Channel selector to filter broadcasts by messaging channel
- A data table listing all broadcasts with columns:
- Name — The campaign name
- Status — Current state (Draft, New, Sending, Done, Failed, Cancelled)
- Date — When the broadcast was created or scheduled
- Actions — Menu with Edit, Copy, and Delete options
- Pagination controls for navigating through large lists
Features & Actions
Create a New Broadcast
What it does: Creates a new broadcast campaign and opens the editor to configure its content and recipients.
Steps:
- Select the Channel you want to send from (only WhatsApp channels are available)
- Click the + Add New button
- Enter a Name for the broadcast
- Click Submit
- You will be redirected to the broadcast editor
Important notes:
- You must select a WhatsApp channel before creating a broadcast
- The channel determines which contacts and templates are available
- Only WhatsApp channels (Cloud API and Business API) support broadcasts
View and Edit a Broadcast
What it does: Opens the broadcast editor where you can modify the content, select recipients, and send the campaign.
Steps:
- Click on the broadcast name in the table
- Alternatively, click the menu icon (three dots) and select Edit
- You will be taken to the broadcast editor
Copy a Broadcast
What it does: Creates a duplicate of an existing broadcast, optionally including only failed message recipients.
Steps:
- Click the menu icon (three dots) on the broadcast row
- Select Copy
- Optionally check Only failed messages to copy only recipients whose messages failed in the original broadcast
- Enter a name for the copy
- Click Submit
Important notes:
- The "Only failed messages" option is useful for retrying a broadcast that had delivery failures
- The copy includes the same content and channel settings as the original
Delete a Broadcast
What it does: Permanently removes a broadcast campaign.
Steps:
- Click the menu icon (three dots) on the broadcast row
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete
Important notes:
- This action cannot be undone
- You cannot delete a broadcast that is currently sending
Broadcast Statuses
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | The broadcast is being configured and has not been sent |
| New | The broadcast is queued and ready to send |
| Sending | Messages are currently being delivered |
| Done | All messages have been sent successfully |
| Failed | The broadcast encountered errors during sending |
| Cancelled | The broadcast was stopped before completion |

Important Notes
- Only WhatsApp channels support broadcast campaigns
- The channel must be selected before creating a new broadcast
- Status indicators use color coding: green for Done, yellow for Sending, red for Failed
- Broadcasts in "Sending" status cannot be deleted
