Broadcast Editor
Overview
The Broadcast Editor is where you configure the content, select recipients, and send a broadcast campaign. The editor is organized into three tabs that guide you through the process: define the message content, filter and browse available contacts, and review the final list of selected contacts before sending.
How to Access
- Navigate to Broadcast, then click on a broadcast to edit it
- Required role: Admin
Interface Overview
The Broadcast Editor has three tabs:
- Content — Configure the message to send
- Available Contacts — Browse and filter contacts to add to the broadcast
- Selected Contacts — Review and manage the final list of recipients
A Send button is available to dispatch the broadcast, and a Back button returns to the broadcast list.

FAQ
Q: How many contacts can I send a broadcast to? A: The default limit is 400 contacts per broadcast when not using a chatbot on non-WhatsApp Business channels. WhatsApp Business API channels may support higher limits based on your account tier.
Q: Can I schedule a broadcast for later? A: Yes. When you click Send, you can choose a specific date and time for the broadcast to be dispatched.
Q: What happens if some messages fail? A: Failed messages are tracked on the Selected Contacts tab. You can copy the broadcast with the "Only failed messages" option to retry just the failures.
Q: Can I edit a broadcast after it has been sent? A: No. Once a broadcast is sending or completed, its content and recipient list cannot be modified. You can create a copy for a new campaign.
Q: What is the difference between "Message" and "WhatsApp Template" content types? A: "Message" sends a plain text message. "WhatsApp Template" uses a pre-approved template format required by WhatsApp for business-initiated messages outside the 24-hour conversation window.
Q: What does the "Chatbot" content type do? A: Instead of sending a static message, it starts a workflow (chatbot) session for each recipient, allowing for interactive automated conversations.
